Compliance & Sourcing
How NCG-1 and NCG-1-D are designed, sourced, built and traced.
Origin claim
Origin claim
Designed and Assembled in the USA — allied-sourced components
NCG-1 and NCG-1-D are designed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; final assembly is at a US contract manufacturer selected per run and named on that run's certificate of conformance; components are allied-sourced and country of origin is reported per BOM line.
That sentence is the whole claim. It is used unchanged on the boards, the datasheets and this site, and we make no broader origin claim.
NDAA and Buy American wording on this page is under counsel review. Until it is cleared, no shorthand compliance language appears here.
Sourcing rules
| Requirement | What we do | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Country of origin | Reported per BOM line, passives included; non-PRC origin preferred | Released BOM |
| Authorised purchase | Parts bought from franchised distributors against the released BOM; no open-market or broker purchases for production runs | Distributor invoices |
| Substitutions | Only alternates listed in the BOM Alt column; anything else needs written approval before kitting | Released BOM |
| Lot identity | Reels photographed at kitting, lot and date codes recorded against the run | Reel-label photos |
| Fab and assembly | US fab and US assembly, each named on the run's certificate of conformance; laminate Isola (US) or Panasonic (JP) | Fab CoC + CM CoC |
| Unit identity | One serial per board, one test log per serial | Serial range + test log |
- 01Approved-manufacturer list frozen at BOM release.
- 02No open-market or broker purchases for production.
- 03Origin reported for every line, passives included, non-PRC preferred.
- 04Fab and assembly both in the USA, facility named on the CoC.
- 05Nothing ships without a serial, a test log and a closed run folder.
Traceability
Per-serial traceability means the label on a board resolves to its run folder: the released BOM, distributor invoices, reel-label photos with lot codes, fab and CM certificates of conformance, and the serial range with its test log.
